Effective date: 3 October 2026
Honey Here is an adults-only social and live app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Honey Here mobile app, audio rooms, posts, chat, coins, agencies, and the public legal pages.
Honey Here is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Audio rooms are only for people who are 18 or older. Video livestream will be added later. When it launches, it will also be 18+ only. People under 18 will not be given access to video livestream or to any other live feature.
Who we are
Honey Here is operated by the Honey Here Official Team. Privacy questions and requests go to support@honeyhere.app.
Information you give us
- Phone number. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your mobile number (India and Bangladesh). Firebase Authentication stores that number so you can return to the same account.
- Profile. Display name, photo, bio, gender, country, and the public user ID shown in the app. You can copy that ID from Settings.
- Posts. Photos and text you publish, plus likes and comments.
- Social graph. People you follow and people who follow you.
- Chat. Direct messages and chat requests between accounts.
- Live audio. When you speak in an audio room, your voice is transmitted live to other people in that room through our media servers. We do not offer room recordings as a product. We do keep room and account metadata (who entered, seat actions, messages, and blocks) so hosts and the Official Team can enforce the rules.
- Future video livestream. Video livestream is not available today. When we release it, the camera video of a live host will be transmitted live to viewers in that stream, the same way voice is transmitted in an audio room. We will publish an update to this policy when that feature is turned on. Access will be limited to people who are 18 or older.
- Coins and gifts. Coin balance, star balance, gifts you send or receive, and recharge requests. India recharge uses PhonePe. Bangladesh recharge uses bKash. A coin seller or the Official Team may also add coins. We store the amount, status, and the payment reference you submit (such as a UTR). We do not store your full payment-card number.
- Agency applications. If you apply to run an agency, we collect the details and documents you submit on that form, including identity information, so the Official Team can review the application.
- Support mail. If you email us, we keep the message and the ID you send so we can answer and, where needed, ban or delete an account.
Guest browsing does not create an account. Guests must still be 18 or older. Actions that need an account (a seat, chat, posts, gifts, and wallet) require phone sign-in.
Information collected automatically
- Push token. If you allow notifications, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token to deliver Official messages and alerts.
- Security logs. API requests may include your IP address, time, and user agent. Admin actions are stored in an audit log. We use these records to investigate abuse, payment fraud, and banned IDs.
- App diagnostics. Crash and connection errors may be processed by the platform tooling that ships with the app build.
Language choice in Settings stays on the device for the current session. We do not treat it as an account field.
How we use information
We use this information to create and protect your account, show your profile and posts, run audio rooms, deliver chat and notifications, process coins and gifts, review agency applications, and enforce these policies.
We use it to detect people under 18, payment fraud (including a fake payment, a forwarded UTR, or an amount that does not match), harassment, and other violations. If a rule is broken, the Official Team may ban the ID, as described in the Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
- Google Firebase for authentication, database, file storage, and push messaging.
- LiveKit, on infrastructure we operate, for live audio and, when released, live video.
- PhonePe and bKash for the recharge method you choose. Those services process the payment under their own terms. We receive the result we need to approve or reject coins.
How an ID ban affects your data
A ban is not the same as deleting an account. When the Official Team bans an ID, phone sign-in for that account is turned off and the public ID is removed from search. We keep the moderation record (banned state, time, staff member, and optional reason) and the payment and safety records we need so the same person cannot simply open a new account and so disputes can be resolved. The reason is not shown on your public profile.
How long we keep information
We keep account information while the account is active. After a confirmed deletion request we disable sign-in and delete or anonymize profile, posts, and chat within 30 days. We may keep payment records, fraud records, and ban records for as long as we need them for accounting, chargebacks, safety, and legal claims.
Your choices
Email support@honeyhere.app with your public user ID to ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion. The steps are on the Account deletion page. You can also stop push notifications in your phone settings.
Children
Honey Here is not directed to children and is not offered to anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using the app, email support@honeyhere.app. We will ban that ID and remove live access. See Child safety.
Changes
The Official Team may update this policy from the admin console. The public page will show the new version and date. The web address stays the same, so the Play Store listing does not need a new URL for a text change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update.
